The Bridge Institute supports the building of bridges between all individuals by teaching music as the Universal Language - making melodic permutations the foundation of peaceful, collaborative dialogue and understanding.
The Universal Language Room was created by Jason Caplan in New York City in 2004. He partnered with Gilbert Smith and William Ruiz in 2006 to build the project. In the same year, the Bridge Institute was formed and received 501c3 status.
